WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE GROUP FOR MY CHILD?

Beginning Fall 2026, the current calendar-year system (January 1 – December 31) will be replaced with a school-year based system (August 1 – July 31). This means that based on their birth month/year, most players will be given the opportunity to play on a Travel Team with players in their Fall 2026 grade.

This change is being mandated locally by the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, and as a result, it applies to all leagues in which GNSC (and most Clubs in New York) participate.  As such, our compliance is mandatory.

If you need assistance determine your child's correct age group, we strongly recommend using the Club’s Age Group Chart and Calculator.
